Buccaneer white sandy beach is claimed to be the most beautiful beach in British Columbia.


It is located on the southern tip of North Thormanby Island. It is a marine beach and can be accessed by boat or water taxi. You may hop on a water taxi or reserve your seat in Secret Cove Marina (a two minute drive) or Buccaneer Marina (a five minute drive). Picture: courtesy of Wikimedia Common

Sargeant Bay Provincial Park is yet another splendid beach only an eight minutes drive away located in Redroof road, Halfmoon bay. The beach features a beautiful hiking trail around Triangle Lake and Colvin creek.

This waterfront park has an amazing view to the Straight of Georgia. It has designated areas to launch boats. Use the beach for swimming, playing volleyball or barbeque. It is only a nine minute drive away located in Redroof road, Halfmoon bay.

Davis Bay is the long pebbled beach coastline in high tide and sandy in low tide that makes it suitable for swimming. A long stretch of picture perfect seaside walking path that leads you to a long wooden fishing pier near the shoreline. Often the pier is occupied by fishermen and swimmers.

Halfmoon Bay Welcome Beach with a long stretch of amazing views is located right behind the Halfmoon Bay Welcome 5642 Mintie Rd, Halfmoon Bay and only a six minute drive away.
